Issues ⚠️

  • The FBI attributed Binance’s record $6.3B hack on Oct 29 to North Korea’s TraderTraitor. Binance has replenished around 95% of the $3.3B in losses using SAFU funds and market purchases, including 7,499 BTC ($581M), and resumed withdrawals on Nov 1, recording $3.64B in net outflows.

  • Polymarket was drained of about $2.7M across 700+ wallets on Oct 29 after a compromised DebugBear monitoring script put a wallet drainer on polymarket.com. The script sold users’ positions and swept cash to an attacker wallet, and one trader reported losing $800K. Polymarket halted trading, restored it that evening, and reportedly promised compensation.

  • Bloom Trading reimbursed users after a $947K Solana hack. A remote code execution flaw in a third-party module drained 9,408 SOL from 49 wallets. No private keys were stolen; the company paused services and refunded users in nine transactions.

  • Keystone’s hardware wallet breach leaked names, addresses, and order data for about 26K buyers, and a device key may allow spoofed units. Keystone confirmed the breach and is destroying 18,835 units.

  • predict.Fun reported about 400,000 USDT in unauthorized wallet transfers hitting a small number of users over a short period. It suspects its third-party-hosted API documentation site was compromised and took the site offline.

  • Ostium opens Stage 2 of its recovery portal on Oct 31, with about 257,000 USDC becoming available. → If you were hit by the July exploit, check the post for eligibility.
