As Uniswap v4βs launch nears, the platform has introduced the v4 Address Mining Challenge. Building on the capital efficiency of Uniswap v3, v4 offers enhanced flexibility through hooks and optimized gas usage throughout trades. Pool creation costs will drop by 99.99%, and traders will benefit from cheaper multi-hop swaps. The challenge, running until December 1, 2024, invites users to find a salt value for the CREATE2 deployment function that generates a contract address with the most leading zeros and prominent occurrences of the number 4.
Avara has introduced Family, a non-custodial Ethereum wallet for iOS. Family provides users with asset tracking, dApp connectivity, and in-app messaging, alongside security features like Pocket for wallet setup and biometric authentication. The app allows users to manage tokens, browse collectibles, and bridge assets across supported Layer 2 networks.
Espresso Network is now live on mainnet, offering secure, fast state confirmations across chains, starting with Ethereum. The phased Espresso Mainnet 0 rollout emphasizes stability, partner onboarding, and a transition to PoS next year.
