Recap: Week of Nov 27th

Launches 🚀

• Yearn V3 Live on Polygon
  Yearn V3 introduces Tokenized Strategies, allowing for standalone, single-strategy vaults that are ERC-4626 compatible. V3 is now on Polygon and will be rolling out slowly, with new Vaults and strategies added over time ahead of launching on other chains.

• Rage Trade V2 Beta Live
  Perp aggregator Rage Trade launches v2 public beta (needs invite). V2 aggregates GMX v1/v2 and Synthetix, offering better funding/prices and new perp strategies.

• Wildcat Live on Ethereum
  Lending protocol Wildcat is live on the Ethereum mainnet. Wildcat “enables undercollateralized, on-chain credit facilities which borrowers can parameterize however they wish. Lenders benefit from novel interest rate and withdrawal mechanisms.”

• DFlow Swap Live on Ethereum
  DFlow Swap, a swap aggregator, is live on Ethereum. DFlow fills swap orders at the best available prices by searching for the best prices on major CEXes and DEXes.

• SDX Live on Solana
  Solana Derivatives Exchange (SDX) launches on Solana. SDX enables options trading on Solana, with mSOL as the first supported option market.

• Econia Live on Aptos
  Econia, a Dragonfly-backed on-chain order book, launches on Aptos mainnet. Econia provides the infrastructure and allows users to trade with their frontend partners such as Aries Markets, Gator Trade, KanaLabs, etc.

• Hyperliquid NFTI
  Hyperliquid launches NFTI, an index of blue-chip NFT collections, including Bored Ape Yacht Club, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, Azuki, DeGods, Pudgy Penguins, and Milady Maker.

• StakeWise V3 Live
  StakeWise V3 is now live on the Ethereum mainnet. V3 introduces a new approach to liquid staking, “any node operator and staker on Ethereum can mint osETH, a liquid staking token, to represent ETH staked on their nodes.” V3 also comes with a marketplace of staking offers through smart contracts called Vaults.

• Cryptex V2 on Arbitrum
  Cryptex launches V2 (Pi) on Arbitrum. Pi has a perpetual DEX that allows users to long or short on multiple assets with up to 100x leverage. The v2 platform is built on Perennial Labs’ infrastructure.

Updates 🚩

• Hacker Demands to Take Over Kyber
  In an on-chain message, the hacker from the $47M KyberSwap exploit demanded full control over the company behind the project. The hacker said if the demands are unmet by Dec. 10, their “treaty” deal will fall through.

• Passed: Orca Trading Fees Reallocation
  Orca DAO approved the proposal to reallocate Orca protocol’s trading fees, in which 87% of trading fees will be routed to LPs, and 12% to the DAO treasury.

• Aragon OSx and App on Arbitrum
  Aragon launches OSx and App on Arbitrum. This integration simplifies DAO creation and management, making governance customization more efficient.

• Republic Note on Avalanche
  Investment platform Republic launches its profit-sharing digital asset, Republic Note, on Avalanche.

• Chainlink v0.2 Staking Live
  Chainlink enables Priority Migration for staking v0.2. Existing v0.1 stakers can now migrate their staked LINK and accrued rewards to v0.2 during the nine days.

• Maple x Circle
  Maple Finance partners with Circle to expand USDC adoption via Maple's Secured Lending pool.

• Myso Supports Swaps
  Lending protocol Myso Finance now allows users to conduct p2p token swaps at size with zero slippage and zero swap fees.

• Call for Cosmos Chain Split
  In response to a recently passed proposal that reduces ATOM inflation, Cosmos founder Jae Kwon called for a chain split and referred to the hard fork as AtomOne. The forked chain would support the ATOM token along with the native ATOM1.

• Passed: SSV Permissionless Upgrade
  SSV governance approved the transition of the SSV mainnet into a permissionless network by removing the current limitation that only restricts the onboarding of validators and operators to mainnet launch partners.

• Gravita Supports weETH
  Gavita now accepts weETH from Ether.fi as collateral for minting GRAI. With weETH support, users earn the same high yield on their LST while holding GRAI, which can be used to leverage positions, provide liquidity, or deposit in the Stability Pool.

Hacks 👾

• Velodrome & Aerodrome Frontend Exploit
  Velodrome and Aerodrome frontends are compromised. The team is investigating and users are advised to NOT interact with the two protocols. Domains of both projects have been restored and the websites are resumed.

Upcoming ⏳

• Goldfinch on Base L2
  RWA lending protocol Goldfinch approves deployment on Base L2.

• Sei V2
  Sei plans to release V2 in the first half of 2024. The upgrade will add EVM support on Sei, making it simple for dApps currently built on any EVM to deploy on Sei.

• Polygon ZK & RWA Products
  Polygon's founder announced the introduction of new products on ZK, RWAs, and institutional adoption in December.

• Kujira Futures
  Kujira seems to be launching a Futures product soon.

• F(x) Protocol fUSD
  F(x) protocol proposes to issue a dollar-pegged stablecoin fUSD with three options to (or not to) launch the stablecoin and boost liquidity.

• SynFutures V3 on Blast
  Perp DEX SynFutures sets to launch its V3 (currently on testnet) on Blast L2.

• Magic Eden Wallet
  Magic Eden introduces its cross-chain Wallet. The wallet will combine wallet and marketplace, offer a credit card option to buy crypto and allow cross-chain swaps. The wallet is in beta testing with the full release coming in Q1 2024.

Airdrops 🪂

• dYdX Chain Full Trading
  The dYdX chain ends its Beta Stage and launches Full Trading with trading rewards. Traders can earn trading rewards up to but not exceeding, 90% of a fill’s net-trading fees, paid in $DYDX (~50,000 DYDX per day).
  Besides trading rewards, dYdX governance sets aside $20M for a 6-month Launch Incentives Program. 80% of rewards will go towards trading activity, while 20% will go towards market maker activity.

• Levana Airdrop Confirmed
  Cosmos-based perp swap Levana will do an airdrop. Users must fill out a form and trade/farm on Levana to be eligible.

• Poolshark FIN Token
  Poolshark protocol introduces the FIN token. FIN can be used for Staking & earning Multiplier Points, Season Rewards, and Options Liquidity Mining.

• TIME Premine on Polygon zkEVM
  Timeswap launches the TIME Premine program on Polygon zkEVM. The program introduces additional incentives in the form of TIME tokens for lending/borrowing and adding liquidity. The pre-mined TIME tokens will be redeemable 1:1 during TGE (Q1, 2024).

• JITO Token & Airdrop
  Solana-based liquid staking protocol Jito introduces JITO token. 10% of total JITO tokens will be airdropped to the Community based on JitoSOL Points. The airdrop Snapshot was taken on Nov 25th, users can check their eligibility on the Jito website.

• Cega Dual Currency Strategies
  Structured products protocol Cega launches Dual Currency, which offers 22% APY for stETH and ETH holders. The product provides enhanced yields through options trading. 

• osETH Farm on Balancer
  StakeWise launches the first osETH (StakeWise LST) farm on Balancer. Users can provide liquidity for the osETH-ETH pair and earn staking rewards, trading fees, and $SWISE incentives

• Perpetual Protocol APR Boost
  Perpetual protocol offers a time-limited APR boost for Hot Tub USDC deposits.

• QuickSwap Smart Pools on Manta L2
  QuickSwap integrates with Steer Protocol and launches Steer Smart Pools on Manta L2. The pools have auto-compounded fees, higher rewards, deeper liquidity, and reduced slippage.

• Moonwell Rewards Live on Base L2
  Lending protocol Moonwell launches USDC rewards for Base markets.

• Maverick GHO-USDC Pools
  Maverick launches GHO-USDC pools. LPs get to supply liquidity to earn trading fees and extra GHO rewards.

• Clearpool New Borrower Pool
  BastionTrading launches a new borrower pool on Clearpool Optimism. Users can lend USDT to the pool and earn returns and additional rewards in $OP
