MapleStory Universe has permanently banned accounts involved in illegitimately clearing top bosses like Lotus and Damien using hacks, with linked wallets also sanctioned. A full investigation is underway, and a new multi-layered detection system is being implemented to prevent underpowered clears and broader bot abuse.
Over 10,000 accounts are already penalized daily, and structural deterrents are being developed to counter wallet-based evasion.
DELV has announced it is shutting down operations after five years of building fixed-rate infrastructure in DeFi. The team cited the decision as difficult but necessary, marking the end of its journey.
Meta Pool has paused its mpETH contract on Ethereum following an exploit involving unauthorized token minting via the
mint()
function. The attack was quickly detected and contained, with further damage prevented.The team is investigating the vulnerability, assessing DEX and OP bridge impact, and preparing a community action plan.
Iranian crypto exchange Nobitex was hacked for approximately $82 million across Tron, EVM, Bitcoin, and Dogecoin chains. The breach involved unauthorized access to its infrastructure and hot wallets. Hacker group Gonjeshke Darande claimed responsibility and threatened to release Nobitex’s internal data within 24 hours.
RISC Zero disclosed a critical vulnerability in its rv32im circuit affecting versions 2.0.0 to 2.0.2 of risc0-zkvm, impacting 3-register RISC-V instructions. The issue was reported via HackenProof and resolved in version 2.1.0, with a $50K bounty awarded. All partners have since migrated.
