Aave Freezes V2 Markets
Aave governance has temporarily frozen 17 lending markets on V2 to fend off further liquidity attacks. Paused markets include YFI, CRV, ZRX, MANA, 1INCH, MKR, etc.
AdaSwap Live on Cardano Mainnet
Cardano-based DEX Adaswap is now live on mainnet, enabling trading & bridging for Cardano tokens and NFTs.
MakerDao Proposes Spending Cuts
Maker governance recently closed a bunch of polls on investments and budgeting. Rejected polls include a $500m investment in corporate bonds, a $100m investment in $OUSD, an increase on the surplus buffer upper limit to 1B DAI. Core Unit budget changes were also polled including reducing UX development budget and not renewing the immunifi security budget
Other approved polls include a $225m future purchase of mortgage-backed securities, and a $225m acquisition of UK/EU-focused ETF.
