Launches 🚀

• BOB, a hybrid Bitcoin L2, has launched its mainnet with over 40 projects deployed on the chain. BOB also launched Fusion Season 2, allowing users to earn Spice (points) by supplying TVL, using BOB dApps, and completing Galxe quests.

• Nim Network, an AI gaming RollApp (IBC rollup chain) powered by Dymension, launched its mainnet. NIM liquidity provision and CEX listings will follow in the coming days.

• Bedrock, a cross-chain liquid restaking protocol, launched liquid-staked Bitcoin (uniBTC) in partnership with Babylon. Users can now stake BTC for uniBTC and earn staking rewards plus Bedrock Diamonds.

Updates 📰

• Uniswap Wallet integrates with Robinhood Connect. Uniswap mobile app users can now buy crypto with a debit card, via bank transfer, or directly from their Robinhood balance using Robinhood Connect.

• Stryke (formerly Dopex) launched xSYK and staking. xSYK is Stryke’s governance token that increases xSYK holders’ governance capability and staking rewards.

• Silo is increasing borrow APRs for XAI, Silo’s cross-silos stablecoin, to encourage XAI borrowers to repay their loans. The Silo team will sunset XAI to free up development resources for Silo v2’s lending product.

Upcoming ⏳

• Aave proposed key upgrades for the next few years, including Aave V4, RWA products centered around GHO, Aave Network, and other updates. Aave V4 will have a Unifiled Liquidity Layer, automated interest rates, new borrow features, a new liquidation engine, stronger GHO integration, and gas reduction by 30%-50%.

• Sei V2 is code and audit complete. V2 will have improved network performance, Parallel EVM, Sei-native dApps, and Blue-chip EVM dApps support.

• Animoca Brands and Darewise founded Opal, a protocol building a gaming ecosystem on Bitcoin.

Airdrops 🪂

• Blur, an NFT marketplace, is live on Blast L2. Blur users can now list, bid, and trade Blast NFTs to earn Blast points and Gold (distributed upon Blast Points Redemption).

• Parcl, a Solana-based real estate perps trading protocol, launched the May Trading Contest. Users can trade to earn a share of 1B points, PRCL rewards, and bonus PRCL & Points raffles.

• Drift, a Solana-based trading protocol, launched an airdrop eligibility checker. Eligible wallets will be given a bonus for waiting to claim. The bonus unlocks linearly over 6 hours from the launch, meaning the longer you wait to claim, the higher your total claim amount.

• Nektar, a restaking network built by Diva Staking, begins the Epoch 1 of Nektar Drops on May 1. The campaign will run until June 1, users can earn rewards by depositing into pre-launch vaults from Nektar’s partner protocols.

• ZKX, a Starknet-based perps DEX, will launch the ZKX token on June 6.
  ZKX airdrop will allocate 15% to eligible users based on the number of NFTs, Galxe campaigns, and referred volume.

• LayerZero has taken the first snapshot for the ZRO airdrop, with more information coming soon.
