yinsure.finance a new insurance primitive

Seemingly hours after commenting that he could make an insurance product, yearn announces yinsure. DeFiGod explains the potential benefits:

1/ Here’s more information on yinsure - a new product offering from @iearnfinance - that will be released in the near future. Insurance is a largely untapped market in the $ETH ecosystem and one of the biggest players is NXM.

While yinsure aims to provide a decentralized, kyc-less alternative, businesses, funds, and other individuals who are ok with KYC may still feel more comfortable using Nexus Mutual, the established player in the space.

While difficult to see on this Coingecko chart which smooths out prices, 1YFI hit 1 BTC yesterday before coming back down above 10k.

Price is not the main point of this newsletter, but it’s still pretty amazing to see a new crypto-asset approach Bitcoin’s levels.

DoDoex, a new AMM design, dubbed a PMM(Pro-active market maker), has launched. It has seemingly achieved lower slippage than other AMMs, with less actual liquidity. It does this by adjusting the price curve.
