Today in DeFi - yInsure NFTs, Pickles, Burgers
yInsure NFTs
yInsure, a permissionless smart contract insurance product from Yearn Finance, is now available in NFT versions. This means that besides the primary market of yinsure.finance - where covers are completely sold out - you can also trade these βyNFTsβ on the secondary market. Here is an example of an NFT for Balancer coverage.
Pickles π₯
Pickles are pumping. What are Pickles you ask? Pickle.finance is a farming project that has a mildly altruistic cause - bring stablecoins to peg. By shifting the highest rewards to the stablecoin most above peg, Pickle incentivizes degenβ err i mean DeFi enthusiasts to buy that coin and push the peg down.
ScoopyTrooples has an excellent explanation here.
Burgers π
BurgerSwap, a Uniswap clone, has launched on Binance Smart Chain. Binance Smart Chain (BSC) is the latest iteration of Binance Chain. While the previous version of Binance Chain supported transactions on Binance Dex, this new version supports EVM-Compatible smart contracts. This means BSC has cross-chain capabilities between Binance Chain and Ethereum.
BurgerSwap is the latest farming project on Binance Smart Chain, with Bella another, more centralized example. DeFi with CeFi characteristics may become more and more prevalent as this space moves forward.
